Student & Graduate Career Coaching
(For Parents)
Helping your child take the first confident step into the working world is one of the most important investments you can make in their future.
At TROUVÉ EXECUTIVE, we use our experience in Executive Search & Selection and Executive Coaching to guide students and recent graduates as they move from education into their first professional role.
This service is designed specifically for parents who want structured, expert support for their child’s career readiness and job search.

How We Help Your Child
Our coaching is tailored to each individual, but typically focuses on five key areas:
1. Clarity on direction
We help your child understand their strengths, interests and realistic career paths so they avoid a “spray and pray” approach to applications.
2. Professional CV & LinkedIn
We turn academic, internship and extracurricular experience into a clear, compelling profile that speaks to employers.
3. Job search strategy & applications
We show them where to look for suitable roles, how to prioritise opportunities, and how to customise CVs and cover letters.
4. Interview skills mastery
Through practical coaching and mock interviews, we build confidence, improve communication and prepare them for common and challenging questions.
5. Work‑readiness & professional presence
We provide guidance on expectations in the workplace, communication, mindset and behaviours that create a strong first impression.

Why Parents Choose TROUVÉ EXECUTIVE
As a firm specialising in Executive Search & Selection, we speak with hiring managers and business leaders every day. We understand what employers look for – from entry level through to senior executives – and bring that insight into our coaching.
Parents choose us because we offer:
• Real‑world employer insight from active headhunters and coaches
• Structured, results‑focused programmes rather than ad‑hoc advice
• Discreet, professional support that respects your child’s individuality and aspirations
Our goal is to equip your child with the clarity, skills and confidence they need to secure their first role and build a strong foundation for a successful career.

Who This Is For
This coaching is suitable for:
• Final‑year secondary school students planning university or work
• University students preparing for internships or graduate roles
• Recent graduates struggling to secure interviews or offers
• Young adults making their first serious move into the professional workplace

How It Works
Step 1 – Parent consultation (20–30 minutes)
A short discussion with you (and optionally your child) to understand their situation, goals and challenges.
Step 2 – Proposed coaching plan
We recommend a tailored coaching plan (for example, a package of sessions focused on direction, CV/LinkedIn, applications and interviews).
Step 3 – Coaching sessions
Sessions can be conducted online or in person (where possible). Between sessions, your child will have clear actions to move their job search forward.
Step 4 – Follow‑up
We review progress, adjust the plan if needed, and ensure your child feels prepared for applications, assessments and interviews.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do you guarantee that my child will get a job?
No responsible coach or recruiter can guarantee a job offer. What we guarantee is a structured, professional process to improve your child’s clarity, CV and LinkedIn profile, job search strategy, and interview performance – significantly increasing their chances of success.
How many sessions are typical?
This depends on your child’s starting point and goals. Many parents choose an initial package focused on 5 - 8 sessions covering direction, CV/LinkedIn, job search strategy and interviews. We will recommend an approach after the initial consultation.
Can I join the sessions as a parent?
We are happy to agree a format that works for everyone. Some parents prefer to join the first or last part of a session; others allow their child to work independently with us. What matters most is that your child feels supported and engaged.
Do you work only with students in Hong Kong and Shanghai?
We are based in Hong Kong and Shanghai, but we also work with international students online. We can discuss your location and time zone during the consultation.
